Course Content
This 2 -day, instructor-led virtual program offers basic first aid and caregiving skills for youth 11-15 years old. Participants learn how to provide care to children in a variety of age groups, and how to prevent and respond to emergencies.
At Home Learning Materials Required:
*Personal email address
*Computer or other device with Wi-Fi, video & audio capabilities
Baby doll (or stuffed bear)
Baby bottle (or water/juice bottle with push pull cap)
Diapers (2) (or medium sized hand towel or pillowcase)
Baby wipes (or face cloth)
Cloth bandages: conforming roller gauze & 2 x 2 pad (or face cloth & light scarf or bandana)
1 – 2 pairs of medical gloves (or kitchen/vinyl gloves)
